ARE YOU A SQUARE PEG IN A WORLD OF ROUND HOLES?

Celebrate it!

Are you unusual? Do you know someone who is?

Welcome! We are The Society of the Happily Unusual, a membership society made up of people who are unusual in some way. Some of us have unusual jobs, hobbies, skills, lifestyles or goals. Some are unusually socially active and others are hermits. Some people have unusual challenges. What draws us together is the knowledge that we're HAPPY about the way we're different. We're comfortable with ourselves. We believe that there is nothing wrong with the pegs, it's the holes that are slightly off.

Why join? Membership confers Honor and Recognition. You won't just be unusual, you'll be certified! It's a great way to find others with similar views, interests, etc. As a member, you'll be able to contribute content. This site will be mainly member driven. Get cool stuff at big discounts! Members can get official Society items at 30% off non-member prices. You'll also be able to give gift awards to others.

Who can join? Membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older who is judged by our Membership Committee to qualify as certifiably unusual. Members may recognize friends or family for a Certificate of Recognition from the Society, regardless of age, but the non-member awardees won't be eligible for membership benefits. What's the cost? It's as little as 2 bucks! Tell me more...
