6/18/2009--Introduced by Barney Frank (D-MA).Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults Act of 2009 - Prohibits the imposition of any penalty under an Act of Congress for the possession of marijuana for personal use or for the not-for-profit transfer between adults of marijuana for personal use.
It's an interesting sign of the times that this bill could have been introduced at all and have 9 co-sponsors, including 1 Republican (2 if you count Ron Paul).
