I really enjoy Bill Engvall's "Here's your sign" bit, where he thinks that some people should wear a sign saying "I am stupid" as fair warning as to what you're dealing with.

Ex. - A guy is on the side of the road and someone comes by and asks, "Tire go flat?"
"No, I was just driving along and those other 3 tires just swelled up!" Here's your sign.

True story: Last fall I was in a gas station and a guy who was at the pump in front of the window with an S-10 truck filled to the top with loose walnuts. On top of the loose ones were 2 large sacks. The driver was in the pay line inside ahead of me.

The clerk asked, "Been gathering walnuts?" The guy should have answered "Nope, I was just driving through a walnut grove and they just fell in." Here's your sign.

Anyone here had a similar experience?

A friend dropped me off at a fast food place to get ice cream while they drove across the street to blockbuster. I got the ice cream and walked across the street over to blockbuster and they asked me, "did you walk here". I said nope, teleported. Here's your sign. (We had just watched his bit on blue collar comedy show)

I was at McDonald's, getting one of those fancy coffees one day. I asked for an Iced Mocha because I had never had one before.
The clerk said to me "Did you want that hot or cold?"

In college me and some friends entered a robotics competition for fun. We made a lego tow-truck robot and used a playstation controller to operate it. The towing arm was robotic as well as the movement of the vehicle.

This junior high kid walks up and goes, "Wow did you guys build that?" I couldn't resist...
"No, bought it at wal-mart. Here's your sign."

It's 95 degrees with 95% humidity and some schmuk always asks, "Is it hot enough for ya?" I usually reply,"Nah, I prefer it to be at least 102."

When a late spring cold snap hits the area some sage will nod wisely and say," So much for global warming, huh?" My standard reply is, "Tell that to the polar bears."

Does anyone has some funnier responses to these?

True story: After exiting my 1967 El Camino at a super market, a man said, " Wow, is that your car? " So I glanced around furtively and said, " No, I just stole it."
