No argument. The question gets more complicated when you talk about arming college students. What do you think about it?

Rifles and shotguns have legitimate, lawful purposes -- hunting and home self-defense. Handguns are used mostly by criminals. I'd be willing to see handguns banned - or much more strictly regulated. Those who want guns for home defense can use rifle or shotgun. Why do citizens really need handguns -- except for crime?
